The music for today is the OST of Lighter & Princess, 36 episodes Chinese drama led by Arthur Chen Fei Yu and Zhang Jing Yi. It is King and Knight by Chen Xueran.
Lyrics:
From the bottom of the sea to the sky, everything is different
The me from before disappeared without a trace
I no longer believe in who can redeem whom
Until you break into my world
Even if the world bursts into total darkness
We bloom in the dark
The knight and the king
Sail at night with white sails to guard the vast ocean
I saw an incredibly clear direction
There is a touch of gold at the end of the wheat field
Even if I am the king
Radiantly shining, what about one person
Going through fire and water is just for you to remember
What all of this looked like in the beginning
Time cannot stop fate from happening
Don't expect a perfect ending
Until you break into my world
Even if the world bursts into total darkness
We bloom in the dark
The knight and the king
Sail at night with white sails to guard the vast ocean
I saw an incredibly clear direction
There is a touch of gold at the end of the wheat field
Even if I am the king
Radiantly shining, what about one person
Going through fire and water is just for you to remember
What all of this looked like in the beginning
The knight and the king
Have the same dream and the same stubbornness
Escape to heaven just to wander with you
My princess won't be sad anymore
If I am the king
The fierce wind and wild grass are arrogant
Broken to pieces as long as you are still by my side
Everything is the way it was originally
I can not find the official MV yet, so you can hear it and sing along as it has pinyin sub including English translation.
I love the lyrics. I found it matching the storyline of the drama. The chorus part is the best for me. It is quite meaningful lyrics especially the part where even when you are the king, the highest one in ranking, having enormous wealth, having everything, it is all useless when he does not have his princess by his side. Everything is more meaningful when he has her by his side.
