Answer: Write about wolves and praises the way bear lives
It seems that Shizuka is not the only teacher who has to deal with Hikigaya off-topic-assignment; apparently, his Biology teacher has trouble digesting his answer too. I am on the board with the teachers. The answer is definitely increasing the level of stress, head-smacking when you are going to give mark to this assignment.
Hikigaya should really pursue literature field. He can be a really good writer compare to me; I am in the amateur / beginner level. Even the content of the essay is wrong, his essay is a delight to read.
Negative characteristics of wolf:
- live in a pack
- being non-alpha is considered as humiliation for the rest of their life (as they are constantly being reminded of their failure)
- no benefits in mingling as a pack in term of individually
Positive traits of bear:
- proud
- lone wolf (fine with living on its own, no need for company)
- hibernate in winter (terrific!)
He wants to be born as a bear in next life. I just love Hikigaya's confidence. The confident level he emits when he determined to be reborn as bear in his next life is definitely praiseworthy and astonishing.
Great question, Shizuka. I would like to ask him that question too. It is not Hikigaya if he does not contradict his teacher about the answer of his homework. The answer still leaves me baffling; contemplating either to accept or reject the answer. Anyway, episode 2 is another episode that I have fun with when watching.
