CODE GEASS: LELOUCH OF RESURRECTION - LELOUCH (L.L) and C.C

YAY! YAY! Double YAY! Everyone who has been onboard of Lelouch and C.C ship, the waiting has finally ended. The ship has successfully sailed. Cheers and scream!!! Code Geass: Lelouch of Resurrection has finally wonderfully confirmed and sailed the ship.

I am overly exhilarated when I found this movie; already out for streaming, so no waiting game as the series ended with bittersweet ending for our main character which is Lelouch. I am beyond delight that Lelouch is still alive (well, resurrected by C.C because she cannot let him go).

We can see in the first scene of C.C where she is talking to someone in the phone near the river accompanied by an unknown figure which turns out to be Lelouch as revealed by the reflection in the water; except this Lelouch seems lifeless based on his purplish eyes. C.C is amazing as she drives the big truck while Lelouch is sitting in the truck.

It seems that C.C has went through some hardship with Lelouch based on the snippets shown to viewers in the movie. C.C acts like a mother or guardian towards Lelouch. She prepares food, tucks him in and even calms him down when he starts to act abnormally. We can see that this Lelouch is completely different than the Lelouch that we know. He is lifeless, acts like a child; his soul might be incomplete or broken at this point of the story.

Apparently, only C.C can soothe him as we can see during the scene when Kallen approaches the frighten and trembling Lelouch. We also gain more information on Lelouch's condition during the conversation between C.C and Kallen.

Determined to return Lelouch to his original self, C.C assures Lelouch before heading into the C's World. As C.C gets severely injured, the main character take the limelight. Lelouch uses his Geass as soon as he regains himself to save C.C. I am glad to see these two back in action together again.

As they are in the mission in saving Nunnally and being cornered by the enemy, it is good to see that C.C has always and will always be the hook that safeguard Lelouch from straying away. I adore their relationship as C.C's words lit up the fire in Lelouch to fight again rather than giving up when being outnumbered by their enemies. Lelouch returns his cool and calm persona again once he gains his confidence back.

Even when they are together, they still get their respective jobs done. Lelouch is on his way to save his little sister while C.C has things to settle down with Shamna.

In the end, Lelouch and the others end up winning the war. 

Here comes the best part of this movie as C.C is preparing to depart and goes into separate way from Lelouch as she is sure that Lelouch will stay will Nunnally. Well, girl was wrong. Lelouch is coming with her. It is funny to see how Lelouch runs to catch up to her. Her comment is gold when she sees him. It is absolutely hilarious; their banter. Lelouch points out how C.C is so selfish; bringing him back and then abandons him. There is also another problem regarding his name. He cannot use Lelouch as his name since Lelouch has died.

The proposal... Lelouch, you are the best. I am taking this as a proposal something akin to "Let's stay together or Let's be together or I will be with you." When he suggests his new name as L.L, C.C turns back and is dumbfounded by the suggestion. L.L is a perfect rhyme with C.C. It sounds like a matching or pair names, just like matching item. In a subtle way, Lelouch makes his choice by telling her that she is the one that he chose to be with. It is utterly beautiful. The scene is definitely moves my heart. It is touching and alluring. After all the things they went through, it comes down to the depth of their bond.

 

Just look at the C.C's expression. The shock that she receives stun her on the spot. Once the overwhelm feelings has ceased, only joyous feeling remains. The smile, the blush is everything. It is perfect ten.

Ooohh.. Can you see the hand-holding? Amidst of the sea of people, we can see the figures of the gleeful couple. As for the last scene, the King and the Queen of Geass. Black looks good on them. Apparently, they stay together and continue their journey.

I enjoy this movie so much. We can see the life of other characters after Lelouch's death/ There are still conflicts despite Leouch's sacrifice. Most importantly, the ending that Lelouch and C.C deserved after all this time. The CGI is good. The storyline is interesting, the fight scene is satisfying and the music especially is pleasing to the ears. I am glad that one of my ships has safely arrived to their destination.
