Yuina’s life changed dramatically due a traumatic incident during high school which left her scarred and insecured. Her safe haven was her best friend, Kira who was also her childhood friend. Unable to move on from that day, she moved in into Kagurazaka family residence. Kira stood by her side through thick and thin, accompanying her and comforting her as she battled to rehabilitate from the emotional scar left by the incident. That incident did not only change her life but also altered her relationship with her family, notably her twin sister, Yuika. The dynamics between Kira and Yuika also transformed drastically. Once dear, their bond changed as a result of the incident, and his protective nature emerged. Over the years, Yuina and Kira’s affinity had gotten stronger. Kira’s constant care and protective side provided her the sense of security she needed and Yuina’s beaming smile became the source of his strength to continue sheltering her. Having to grow apart due to Kira’s work, she pondered whether she should continue to rely on him. Meanwhile, Kira was also battling his inner conflicts. Harboring feelings toward Yuika since high school, he prioritized friendship over relationships by staying by Yuina’s side. The interaction between the two who became co-workers, got complicated due to Kira’s ambiguous feelings toward Yuina. Yuika, whose feelings for Kira remained steadfast and unchanged resolved to mend her broken relationship with both Kira and Yuina. Would Yuina be able to survive independently without Kira’s support? Would Kira be able to sort out his feelings toward both the twin sisters? As for Yuika, would she finally be able to reconcile with the regret of the past especially the incident with Yuina and her relationship with Kira?
