There was nothing left to say. She turned away, taking a deep breath before her left foot marched ahead. Her stride and her eyes were full of determination. Without any hesitation, she gazed further and walked away with confidence.

It was bound to happen. He had always felt that she could disappear any moment even when his eyes never left her. Even when she was in his line of vision, whilst he was right besides her, he could feel there was an invisible wall separating both of them. A wall that she built and took control of.

“You decided on your own to leave, but I never agreed for us to part ways.”
She was speechless. He was more persistent than she thought. She assumed he was the same as others, one that would easily leave when she cut him off harshly and coldly.
