HARUMI'S BOND

Recently, I re-watched Kamen Rider x Super Sentai x Space Sheriff. There were scenes in the movie that greatly brought back beautiful memories of Harumi (while Koyomi was still 'alive' and happily being with Haruto). The scenes also reminded me reasons why I love them sooooo much!

Both of them are having a happy 'date' until they encounter the disturbance in the city. I guess this is also one of the times where Haruto brings Koyomi out to the city sometimes as mentioned by Wajima in episode 14. I super duper love it when they're next to each other.

Their expressions are perfect when Geki steals the spotlight with his appearance. They are just like; "Who's that?"

This scene is perfect. It will be more perfect if instead of showing Haruto in Wizard form, they show him in his human self. Haruto and Geki's argument on magic and hope are really interesting. Haruto emphasizes that magic is used for good; to protect the people's hope. As for Geki, he is fighting to protect the whole universe's hope. Quite contrary with each other. They are protecting the same thing which is hope; the difference is the scale of the hope that they are protecting. Haruto is protecting the people's hope (we don't know how many people) while Geki is protecting the entire universe's hope. Logically, of course we will choose Geki's choice.

But, this is Harumi that we're arguing about. Geki has to destroy Haruto's magic in order to protect the hope that he's fighting for. As for Haruto, of course it is unacceptable. Wiping his magic out means the end of Koyomi as Koyomi depemds on Haruto's mana to stay 'alive'.

"If you still want to get rid of magic, I'll stop you, with everything that I've got." - Haruto

Although we can't see Haruto's expression, but judging from his voice, I can hear strong determination to protect Koyomi and his magic from being destroyed at any cost. In this scene, we can forget about protecting people's hope. Now, the hope that Haruto wants to protect seems more personal (He make it seems like that). He is protecting his hope which is Koyomi. I mean, Haruto make it clear as day that destroying his magic means killing Koyomi to Geki. He dares Geki that if he still insists on destroying his magic, then he gives out everything that he has to fight him. All for the sake of protecting Koyomi. There is no other people involved in his fight; only KOYOMI.

Even Geki is touched by their power of love (Hehehe... Just kidding...). Geki can feel Harumi's bond; so he gives up on destroying Haruto and goes back to HQ and argues with the higher-up officer to investigate more on the rampant of magic in the universe.

Complain session: Writer-san, why do you have to gives Harumi a bitter ending? If you make Koyomi as the one who matters the most to Haruto, why do you kill her? Why? Why? The writer is very bad. Making Harumi inseparable and have the strongest bond ever, yet; no happy ending for both of them. Sigh...

Well, that's all for now... Have a good day...
