Love is in open dooorrrr!!!!

Finally, after 25 episodes of Gaim, we will have some Kouta and Mai moments.... next week. Do not read these post if you don't want to be spoiled.

As the summary of the next episode has been spreading widely in the Internet, I guess everyone has already knows that in episode 26 of Gaim, Mai will know the truth on Yuuya's death and the killer of Yuuya. We also will see Micchy's explosive anger as Kouta involved Mai in this so-called 'Humanity War' and Baron's new upgraded armor.

Let's forget about Kaito, Micchy, Sagara and everyone else. Let's just focus on Kouta and Mai.

It has been hinted in the last two episode (episode 23) that Mai might has feelings for Kouta. Well, the series has already gave hints on Mai's feelings, it is just this time, we got confirmation from Mai herself. In this scene, Mai expressed her concern to Micchy on Kouta as Micchy has been seeing Kouta more than her lately. She also thought that Kouta hid a big secret by himself. Seeing Mai's concern face, Micchy teased her by telling her that Mai has always being worried about Kouta. This; of course earned a flustered Mai with full of denial that she's just being worried. Haha, Micchy hit the spot. Mai can't lie about her feelings. It was clearly shown on her face.

Micchy, pretended to believe that Mai has nothing special towards Kouta told her that he will look after Kouta for Mai's behalf. Furthermore, Kouta is also his friend. (That fake smile...). Mai on the other hand was thankful to Micchy and gave him a big smile.

Mai seemed so happy when Micchy assured her that Kouta will be fine as he will make sure Kouta didn't do anything dangerous. It is obvious to me that Mai DEFINITELY has special feelings for Kouta. Furthermore, childhood friends tend to have feelings for each other when they grow up. (Just look at Detective Conan pairing for example which are the two young detectives and the thief)

Since Kouta has been busy with his jobs to save the human world, stop Yggdrasil plan and finding the Overlords, he has been rarely met Mai and the others. Not to mention with the situation on Yuuya's death, it is understandable that Kouta avoided Mai as soon as he met her. They seemed awkwardly greeted each other in Drupers. Kouta immediately tried to leave the place although he promised Bando to help him cleaning the place. He was obviously afraid that Mai will flood him with questions. He might spilled everything to Mai on Yuuya and the Helheim forest if he's with her. He can't bear the burden alone. At least, there must be someone that he can tell everything to. But, that can not be Mai as she might be in danger as well if she know the truth.

But, before Kouta can't step away further, Mai asks for his some of his time so that she can talk to him. Thanks to that, Kouta can't run away and have a little conversation with Mai in the next episode.

Based on the preview on the next episode, Kouta spilled everything to Mai especially on Yuuya's death which lead to....

Kouta and Mai switch places with Harumi

I'm sure that Mai doesn't blame Kouta at all, instead she will calm him and try to chase away his guilt oover Yuuya's death. This scene brings deja vu feelings to me. I'm suddenly remember about Harumi. Harumi also has the historical backhug except Mai was the one who hugs Kouta instead of Kouta hugging her.

I'm looking forwards for this episode. I will definitely waiting for more Kouta and Mai moments.
