I wonder if love really can make people happy. Because in this episode, I have learn that love sometimes can bring sadness and suffering to people. Love also can make someone's heart break into tiny pieces.
First of all, let us take a look on this case:

On her wedding day, Murase Miyuki has been kidnapped by Enokido Shinya.Enokido then has been arrested by the police at his apartment. As the police asked Makino the relationship between Miyuki and Enokido, he said that Enokido is a stalker. Thus, Enokido is been charged for the offense of stalking and kidnapping. Enokido pleads not guilty for the offense.Mayuzumi is in charge for this case as Enokido's lawyer.
The case is not easy as ABC as the rival of Mayuzumi is her own sensei during the time she was studying law, Aizawa Hideomi. According to Enokido, he is not a stalker as he knew Miyuki about a year ago and is about o get married.
He first met Miyuki at a bank near the factory where he works. Then, sometimes they met in the bus. He would wait for her until she finished her work to return home together with her, He also waited for her every single morning in front of her apartment complex to go to work together. He even moved to a house near to her apartment. And after months passed by, he proposed to her. He has to kidnapped her on her wedding day because Makino has persistently followed Miyuki since college and forced her to marry him.
(No matter what you think, it is the behaviour of stalker, right?)
After two trial in the courts, the last depressing and sad ten minutes of the episode is the last trial and will determine whether Enokido is guilty or not as Miyuki herself will be give the statement at the court.
After Aizawa-sensei questioned Miyuki, It is Mayuzumi's turn to questioned her. She asks Miyuki to honest with her feelings. Mayuzumi asks Miyuki about the time when Enokido gives her a portrait.Enokido claims that Miyuki received it happily. However, Miyuki said otherwise. She even said that Enokido makes his own assumption about her feeling on that time.
Mayuzumi asks Miyuki about the whereabouts of the portrait now. She said that it was creepy, so she threw it away on the day she received it summer last year.
Mayuzumi goes straight to the point. She asks her whether she is bothered by the presence of Enokido. She surely answers yes. When Mayuzumi tries to confirm Miyuki's feeling towards Enokido, Miyuki said that she does not like him even a bit. Just look at Enokido's face when she said that.
Although she denies that she feels happy when she received the portrait, we can see in the flashback of Miyuki's point of view that she is very happy when she received the portrait from Enokido. She also promised to treasure the portrait. The passenger in the bus also confirms with Mayuzumi that on the day she received it, she is very happy. The passenger also commented on how they look like a happy couple and Enokido always makes Miyuki smile. Miyuki has always laughs happily when she is with Enikodo.
Mayuzumi asks Miyuki whether Makino is the one who make her dishonest with her feelings in the court and she denies it. Enokido who keeps on listening to her answers feels sad.I think he must try very hard to keep her heart from broken into pieces.
Mayuzumi asks Miyuki once again whether she likes Enokido or not. And she said no. Even deep into her heart, she does not have any feelings towards him at all. Not even a bit. In this scene, even when she denies her feelings towards Enokido, she hesitates to answer Mayuzumi's question as she has a very long pause before she answers them. It seems like she really tries hard to close her heart and reject the feelings that she has for Enokido. She tries to hold her tears from flowing. On the other hand, Enokido can not do anything at all. He just looks down at the floor. But... the words that make him hurt the most is "He was just a bother." Even when Miyuki said that she does not love him at all, he also gets hurt bit not that worse. But when Miyuki thinks that he just like a pest in her life, his feelings start to crumble.
Mayuzumi still tries to make Miyuki understand that everything that he has done is for her own good. But Enokido stands and raise his voice towards Mayuzumi, asking her to stop defend him in frony of the judge and the others. Mayuzumi asks Enokido about the portrait that she has. They sure can win this case if they ask Miyuki about the portrait.
In her statement, Miyuki said that she has throw it away last year. So, how can Mayuzumi has the portrait now? It is impossible if Mayuzumi finds it if it has been thrown for a year. If it has been thrown for such a long time, the portrait will only be memory and history. It is like Mayuzumi said; that she treasures the portrait until recently as she has to move to his his husband house. To avoid any problem in the court, she threw it away on the day she packed her things.
But then, with the sad music as background, Enokido pleads that he is guilty.
"I was behaving like stalker."
"I followed Miyuki-san based on my own wrong impression and I kidnapped her."
"I am a stalker."
"I'm very sorry."
"I'm very sorry."It must be tough for Enokido to plead guilty for the things he did not do. The person that he loves wholeheartedly denies her feeling for him and even said that his presence is nothing but a nuisance. Because Miyuki said that he is a bother, he gives up. Even he has a chance to win with the portrait, he stops to think about winning.
The saddest thing is during the confession. It is very heart-wrenching when he pleads guilty. He loses this case, loses the woman that he loves, he also loses his pride when he said that he is a stalker. His face, when he said that words, he's almost crying. I am sure if no one is in that place, his tears will burst out of his eyes. I am sure that he will cry loudly and the tears will flow non-stop from his eyes. His heart must be scattered into pieces and there is no other way to mend the broken heart to its original shape. The wound is indeed very deep.
Just look at the faces when he apologizes for the offense, he is really hurt. He apologizes deeply from the bottom of his heart. I feel like I want to be in the story and hug Enokido. He is so kind, yet he has the worst luck in this episode. Even Mayuzumi cries for him. As always, the world is not fair.
Just put yourself in his place, what will you do? Will you abandon everything and plead guilty? I guess when it is in the real situation, you surely will plead guilty too, like Enokido. Human, when they love person so much, they will do anything for that person. But when they get hurt because of that person, they will feel depressed and give up in everything. It is like they have lost their soul to some kind of other world. There are also people who choose to suicide when the person that they love betray them by two-timing.
As for Miyuki, I do not what kind of reason that she has to say that way, but I really can not accept what she has said to Enokido. She breaks his heart. She knows that she loves him, I know that she loves him, but why? Why this has to end that way? Why she is so cruel to Enokido?
When I watched this episode, I do not know what to say. It can not be describe in word. There is no word to describe my feelings when I watched this scene. It is heartbreaking. All that I know, I have watch this scene more than 10 times (I am not lying) and everytime I watched this scene, the tears star flowing like a river. The story is sad and added with sad music as background music, the story is complete. Completely manage to make me cry and heartbroken.
