Well... Today, Dream High 2 has officially ended... So no more dream high on every Monday and Tuesday.
As I watch on YouTube and read some posts in forums, there are so many comments on dream high 2 especially the ending of dream high 2. People complaint a lot on the ending as the ending quite disappointing.
As much as I enjoy Dream High 2, I have to admit that Dream High 2 does not have a satisfy ending, unlike the first season of Dream High. We only have Ui Bong and Lee Seul couple. What about G-minor couple and Rubik's couple?
I think it is already clear that JB end up with Hye Sung and Yoo Jin end up with Rian.
There are differences between Dream High and Dream High 2.
As people really love Dream High, it is normal for them to compare the first with the second season. It is also normal for them to compare about the casts. It is also normal for them to request for Dream High 2 with the same casts as Dream High such as Suzy, IU, Eunjung, Wooyoung, Taecyeon and Kim So Hyun.I watched Dream High 2 basically because of the enjoyable first season. I am not that confident with the storyline. And I don't know about the casts at all. I dont know who is JB, Hye Sung, Ailee, Nana, Siwoo, Ui Bong, Hong Joo and Lee Seul in the real Korean industry. Now, I know. They are very talented and have such great voices. Even the not-good-looking Hong Joo shocked me with his voice. That is why people always say 'DO NOT JUDGE A BOOK BY ITS COVER'.
Dream High 2 offered more songs and voices as almost in each episode they sing more than a song. And we also can hear other voices of the casts. Unlike Dream High, there is no much songs can be heard in each episode.
Dream High : 6 main cast voices (Hye mi, Baek Hee, Jing Guk, Sam Dong, Jason, Pilsuk)
Dream High 2 : 10 voices (Yoo Jin, Rian, JB, Hye Sung, Nana, Si Woo, Hong Joo, Lee Seul, Ui Bong, Ailee)
So, Dream High 2 win....on the songs and voices...
Dream high has a great storyline and great ending. On the other hand, Dream High 2 does not has a strong storyline and disappointing ending. We just keep with the flow that Rian and JB used to be a couple. And then JB likes Hye Sung. Rian started to close Yoo Jin. the love triangle between Si Woo, Nana and Dong Joo. and bla... bla... bla...
So, Dream High win... on this aspect....
Whatever the differences, I will just accept that Dream High is Dream High. Dream High 2 is Dream High 2. It is impossible to make people like both equally as Dream High had been carved in everyone's heart as the greater drama than Dream High 2. It is the same as we try to compare with You're Beautiful with Ikemen Desu Ne. People hate Ikemen Desu Ne because of they really love You're beautiful the most in their heart rather than just a japanese remake. But I really enjoy Ikemen Desu ne more than You're Beautiful.
So do the Proposal Daisakusen and Operation Proposal. I love both at first. But now... nothing can change that Proposal Daisakusen is better. Operation proposal just keep disappoint me with the no-direction-storyline. I really want to drop this from my list and just watch the upcoming last episode of the drama.
It is the same with Hana Kimi and Hana Kimi remake 2011. People complaint on the un-ikemen casts of 2011 remake. But my love for Hana Kimi 2011 surpasses the old one that Horikita Maki acted. I really love the storyline and casts and I enjoy the jokes in the drama. I really like the 'new' Sano. He looks cute in the drama. 'New' Kayashima also have my attention.
By the way, I love the 'Love High' song from Dream High 2. The combination of the voices seems great to me. I like it so much when I hear different voices in that song. (Yoo Jin, Rian, JB, Nana, Si Woo, Hong Joo, Ui Bong, Ailee)
