Kyouryuger First Thought

 

Kyouryuger still doesn't get me hooked up to the series unlike Gobusters... I guess Gobusters storyline affect me that much that I still can't forget about it yet... I love Kyouryuger, but there is something missing from the series (for me). Maybe because we don't have a human-form villain like Enter, Escape and Juuzou? Even Boukenger had Shizuka as a villain.

 Other than the catchy opening song and also the easiest dance that I really love of the ending song and I even dance along when I watch the ending; the only reason for watching the series for now is the members of Kyouryuger. I am waiting for the development of their characters. Like Go-onger, I don't fall for red sentai like the other sentai such as Shinkenger, Gokaiger and Gobusters. It is not like I dislike Daigo. I like him, but Ian catches my heart more than Daigo. I just love Ian's super useful knowledge on the dinosaurs and kyouryu battery. For me, all the characters are important, but Kyouryuger still doesn't give me something that I want in super sentai series.

BUT....

That is only the first thought after watching ten episodes of Kyouryuger. Maybe I will come to like the series more and more since Kyouryu Gold has shown up in episode 11. I love the completed team because only then I feel great to watch such a complete 'family' fighting the evil and destroy them for good. Like Shinkenger, the team was more completed with Shinken Gold a.k.a. Genta joined the team. Same as Gobusters; with Jin and J joined the team, I come to like them more. Because I know that they will support each other in the upcoming battle.

 I hope Kyouryuger will continue to give me great day on Sunday (raw video) alongside Wizard and a very great Tuesday (the subs usually out on this day). I also hope Kyouryuger will impress me with their super action and storyline like other sentai series did. For now, out of 5 stars, I will give Kyouryuger 4 stars. I hope Kyouryuger will break the stars so that I can give the series 10 stars like other series.

p/s: I have watched episode 11. Great episode. It seems like Kyouryuger has surpassed the 5 stars...
